Pssst!

ASOS Australia is reportedly set to launch on Thursday 15th September. Yes, in two days!

If you want to be kept up to date and you haven't already, sign up for updates here.

The Australian site will not only mean that we receive our goods faster but it will be tailored for the Aussie market. We can expect to find brands such as Camilla and Marc (one of my faves), Wheels and Dollbaby, Insight, Evil Twin, My Pet Square and Beau Coops on top of all the other amazing brands already stocked.

Apparently shipping and returns will also be free!

Le Mont St. Michel!

One of my favourite websites to shop from is mychameleon.com.au. I was on the other night and purchased this skirt from Le Mont St. Michel.

Le Mont St. Michel is a French knitwear label that dates back to 1913. Designer Alexandre Milan has created a brand that embodies French style together with the culture of knitted fabrics mixing tradition with modern sensibility.  Well at the moment I love everything French!!

I wanted this chambray shirt but all sold out.. :(

So too was this lovely striped crew sweater...

Once I've had a little play I'll post a pic of how I'd wear the skirt!

Bowling shoes!

So how was your weekend?

We had such a lovely weekend, even though the weather wasn't perfect we managed to get quite a bit done. Friends came to visit and the highlight of my weekend was bowling! I love the funny looking shoes, how terrible I am but still I have so much fun.I also love that one shot were I manage to fluke a strike. I won best bowl of the night when my gutter ball suddenly jumped back out of the gutter and knocked all the pins down! We were in fits of laughter, I was on the floor.. :D

Asymmetry!

When I wear heels I tend to be taller than my husband (I'm not a fan of kitten heels). In search for a shorter but still decent size heel I came across the Zara asymmetric heel. I've worn them almost every day since I got them. They go with any outfit, well almost any outfit. If you can get your hands on a pair I suggest you do.

How do you wear Acne?

In my previous post I mentioned how I picked up this amazing Acne skirt and told you how I wore it out.. Now for some pics.. What do you think?

We've had such nice weather here recently and I was going to take some nicer shots outside but unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse today and this was the best room in our current house.. So please excuse the couch and the oatmeal coloured carpet! :D

Therese Rawsthorne Jumper - Acne Skirt - Zara Shoes - Tiffany & Co Necklace

Are you heading to Melbourne?

So, I'm originally from the most liveable city in the world (:D), Melbourne. At the moment my hubby and I are constantly on the move due to his work. When I do head home to Melbourne there are a few things I love to do:

My favourite rocket, beetroot, apple and fetta salad..mmmm

lentin salad and roast pumpkin salad

Cooper and Milla - the most amazing cafe ever. There is an endless selection of salads to accompany your meal and the desserts are to die for - can I recommend the passionfruit brulee...delish! Plus it's situated in two great locations. High St Armidale, so pop into all the amazing boutiques surrounding the cafe once your finished and Hawksburn Village, Malvern.

Brighton Beach - weather permitting of course, you never know in Melbourne.

Acne skirt!

After seeing the Acne kiss draped skirt on Style Scrapbook's Andy Torres here, I just had to have it. I found it for sale online (YAY) at brownsfashion.com and I wore it out on a dinner date with my Therese Rawsthorne knit and Zara asymetric heels. I'm in LOVE. I'll post some pics soon.

Zimmermann Swim!

Here are some pics from the new Zimmermann swim range. So excited for summer!

NARS Cosmetics!

Francois Nars is one of the world’s greatest minds when it comes to make up. His cosmetics line Nars is one of my favourite ranges to use because the powders are so pigmented you only need to use the smallest amounts to get great results. Here are some images from Vogue Nippon photographed by Francois Nars.

Nars cosmetics can be hard to find in some countries and in Australia they are expensive to purchase. Check out www.kissandmakeupny.com, I buy all my Nars items from here they are much cheaper and postage is $9.95 flat rate worldwide.

Hello Naomi!

The incredibly talented Naomi from Hello Naomi created so many beautiful treats for the dessert table at our wedding reception. We had a photo booth at our rececption, Naomi whipped up some very whimsical moustaches and bows for our guests to play with and then eat.  She has an amazing eye for detail and it seems no design is too tricky for her. I recommend you get your Christmas orders in now, she's sure to book out.
P.S Check out Naomi's blog.

Lucky me!

So, back in January I was lucky enough to marry my best friend. We had our beautiful celebration at Harbour Room in St Kilda, Melbourne. Months of planning went into every little detail (mostly the dessert table), even up until the day of the wedding. I hope you enjoy the pictures, if you want to see more check out this seasons edition of Real Weddings magazine..xx

Topshop Australia - enough said!

It's been confirmed that Topshop will be opening in Sydney, Corner of George St and Market St, and also in Melbourne's Jam Factory by December 2011! That's only 3 months away - I can't wait to check out the shoe collection. I don't know why but I think these are super cute?!?!?

Asos.com are also launching a dedicated Australian website this month, which means we'll receive our goods even quicker and there are rumours swirling that H&M, Forever 21 and Uniqlo are set to open up shop in Australia by 2013. I'm saving my dollars in anticipation!

There are some great opportunities available to work with for Topshop Australia so if you're interested check out their careers page here.

Charlotte Olympia!

I am completely obsessed with Charlotte Olympia shoes at the moment. They are beyond amazing and super tall with the signature platform. I just love enourmous heels that extend your legs and the great selection of designs. Only the most stylish celebrities wear these shoes (ie SJP, Olivia Palermo and Rachel McAdams). Here is a little something for us all to drool over...

Oh Etsy!

So, recently my hubby and I moved to the middle of nowhere for his work, which has left me shopping online in my spare time (currently I have plenty). There are no boutiques here and pretty much nothing else to do.

At the moment I'm loving cord bracelets and I've found a few super cute versions on etsy.com:

I've bought from this seller before and I've been very pleased. You can find these two designs plus more here.

P.S How adorable are these cushions! You can find them here.
